This cabin was built in Nicholas County, Kentucky by Daniel Boone. It is an example of the typical cabin used by settlers when the Huffstutter family arrived about 1800. The Boone family was related to the Huffstutters through two of the sons of Ann Huffstutter McIntosh who married Boone sisters.

Huffstutter Cemetery Restoration Project. Second cleanup 1997. Many trees were cut down and removed and the cemetery was fenced to keep out cattle. Later the original stone fence was repaired around the entire cemetery.
