Uncle George Wilson, one of the oldest residents of this vicinity, died at his home Saturday night after a long illness. To his aged wife and family we extend our sympathy.

Mr. George Hon Wilson, 81 years old, well known farmer and former Nicholas Co. Magistrate, died at his home near East Union Saturday night following an illness of several months. Mr. Wilson was a life-long resident of that section and had many friends. The body was brought to the home of his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Charles Wilson, on North Street in Carlisle, from which place funeral services were held Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Henry W. Schwan. Burial followed in the Carlisle Cemetery. Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, one son John Wilson, of the county, and one daughter, Mrs. Enoch Thompson, of East Union. The services at the grave were conducted by B.F. Reynolds Masonic Lodge, of which he was a member for many years.
