George Hoffstatter, Nellie O., reports that dogs have killed five of his most valuable sheep during the last week.
It is reported that dogs have been killing a number of sheep in the Mohawk vicinity during the last two weeks.

|George M Hoffstatter, 80, died at his home in Perry township 9:25 Saturday morning of infirmities. He was a lifelong resident of perry township.|
He was born Dec. 2, 1862 the son of Matthew and Elizabeth Billman Hofstatter. he was married to Ella Bailey in 1883.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, William of Newcomerstown, Clyde of Killbuck, Leo and Clifford of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Mina Wilhelm of Walhonding route, and nine grandchildren. One son is deceased.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Urey Funeral Home in Warsaw with Rev. E.R. Wood officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery.
